WHAT HINDERS UNITY IN MARRIAGE

*WHAT HINDERS UNITY IN MARRIAGE*

1. LACK OF VISION
When you two have no vision rallying you as a couple, what will bring you together and keep you going? Vision creates a team

2. INTERFERENCE FROM PARENTS
When you allow your parents to rule your home or undermine your spouse, their voices will break unity

3. UNFORGIVENESS
Holding grudges pushes you two apart and can even lead to revenge instead of building together

4. SECRETS
This keeps you from being fully one. Try your best to create an atmosphere where you both can talk about anything without fear or judgment

5. LACK OF SEX
Do not underestimate the power of sex to form an unbreakable bond. Sex is emotional, physical, spiritual and mental

6. EGO
When you only think about yourself you will struggle to celebrate your spouse, to listen to your spouse's opinion and to humbly receive correction; thus threatening unity

7. AFFAIRS
Emotional or sexual affairs will distract you from fostering unity. A piece of you will be out of the marriage

8. LACK OF QUALITY TIME
How can you create unity without spending time together? Make time for your spouse

9. COMPETITION
When you see your spouse as a competitor instead of someone who compliments you as a partner you will frustrate each other

10. FRIENDS
Friends if left unchecked, can pull you in a different direction than the one you are heading with your spouse. Focus

This Is For The Living Only.

For The Living Only:  The Futility of Life. All men would like to be happy. The problem is that we are not quite sure what happiness is. At times we feel better than at other times. There are times when we feel great. But, even then we are not quite sure if this is all there is to happiness. It seems to be an elusive dream of total satisfaction, but it often stays just out of reach, leaving us feeling empty and dissatisfied. We want to find some significant reason to live and it seems to boil down to a few things. We imagine that these things must surely deliver on the promise for happiness, else so many people would not keep on seeking happiness in these things. To have a dream and then to pursue that dream seems to be the main reason for our existence. The dream is for riches, popularity, or prestige. To have other people acknowledging our importance is what life is all about, because we often have a hard time convincing ourselves that we are as important as we want o...

Since Death Is Certain And Real.

Please, read this heartily! "...Better to go to the house of mourning Than to go to the house of feasting, For that is the end of all men; And the living will take it to heart...." Ecclesiastics.7.2.nkjv. The way many people live, I wonder if they ever give serious thought to death and what will follow death. Man's physical body was made out of dust, and unto dust shall it return (Gen. 3:19). The soul (spirit) of man shall never die. "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Heb. 9:27). Every person who dies shall come forth from the grave. "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation" (Jn. 5:28-29). When a person dies, his body is returned to the ground but the soul goes either to "Abraham's bosom,...

What Is Debate (Christian Perspective)? By Benson Omole. A Christian debate involves respectful biblical discussions, and arguments about Christian theology, doctrine, and practices. It's usefulness is immeasurable. Benefits: 1.
